WEIGHT TRAINING

Core Fitness provides state-of-the art equipment so you can self-direct a training plan. Or, consult with one of our certified personal trainers to develop the right program for you.

Most fitness professionals recommend some form of weight training as part of a complete wellness regime. While it doesn’t have to be bench-pressing triple your weight in gold bricks, it should be challenging.

Our Hammer Strength plate-loaded equipment is an industry standard, allowing for natural, repeatable movements that are ergonomically sound. Smooth arcs of motion let you work both limbs at once or alternate sides with ease so you get the best resistance training combined with real-life motion. *Remember that weight training should always be combined with a brief (10-15 minute) cardio warm-up and cool-down, as well as stretching of the areas to be worked.*

Our certified fitness trainers can help you develop the most effective plan. Whether you are an amateur OR a seasoned lifter, they can help with anything from choosing the right weight so you maintain correct form to motivating you with breathing and focus. Getting the proper advice from the outset will keep you from getting injured, and at the very least prevent you from receiving an ineffective workout.
